In college I lost the use of my hand for 6 mos. Tendinitis locked 3/5 fingers flat against my palm, and I had use of thumb/index. I learned to type pretty efficiently with one hand and a pointer finger. Learned to use a mouse with the other hand and backwards buttons. Give it time to heal.
