But the reveal of exactly how they caused raccoon city and were started, wesker etc, which was planned to be revealed by the president in RE6 never actually happened bc the president died. So details of Leon and wesker and everyone are likely not public. Perhaps some of BSAA. Their wikis are

As far as I remember, raccoon city was public knowledge as a tragedy but not actually went down, that was covered up. Umbrella was later revealed to be corrupt, so there is probably some bare information on them on Wikipedia.

I haven’t played 8, but RE4 remake has a lot of visual effect settings, things like change and bloom and reflected light, even filters. RE8 likely has similar options. Could more toned down visuals or adjusted motion help you be able to play through the game?
