I have a "tiny" 1300 sqft condo in The Bay Area (East Bay: SF, CA) that is >50 years old. I could sell it for just north of 900k.
It's not just about the SIZE. We need to do something so our young people can have a chance at home ownership without having to move to a different state.

For me, taking them to college was way worse than taking them to kinder for the first time, which was brutal!
