Many, many of us are not too lazy nor too proud to admit it. There is quite a few, however, that are willfully ignorant. I blame Christian Nationalism, unregulated capitalism, systemic racism, and unhealthy individualism, amongst other factors. MAGA and their ilk are a greasy stain on this country.

I didn’t know there was a cap either. Too young to draw on Social Security so I admit I support the program rather blindly because I want the elderly and such to get it.
