How pathetic that someone who goes by the monicker Dr. Nature is unaware that there is no scientific basis for race. Race is a social construct, not a biological reality. Race is an identity assigned by society - not a natural or inherent characteristic of people. They are called books; try them.

I question my PhD students like this: Who runs that "market economy?" (Capital, via their donor class influence.) Is it a "free market economy" when it is rigged for the wealthy few? Begs the following question: Is this capitalism or oligarchy? (See the 2014 Princeton "Oligarchy" study.)

Friend, are you allergic to history books? Colonial wars, in fact most wars, are fought for CAPITAL. Resources, land, wealth, and the power they yield all in the hands of a very few - which is capitalism.

As a PhD in Public Policy, I certainly understand the financial and social gains American families experienced when capitalism was more reined in/regulated. That doesn't make capitalism good, Mike. Since then, the donor class has done nothing but diminish those gains - under capitalism.

Capitalism/colonialism literally created the concept and justification of race/racism - a symbiotic relationship that created racial hierarchies to legitimize wealth, cheap labor/slavery, land, resources, etc. They can never be separated. And mentioning socialism is an unrelated red herring.

A market economy is not the main part of capitalism. CAPITAL is the main part of capitalism. Capitalism - an economic system where private individuals or businesses own the means of production and control property.
