I appreciate them bringing the classic Sabrecat design back for DQ2 HD but holy fuck this guy is cleaning my clock. Four attacks per turn is absolutely nasty. The fact the sister is like 10 levels weaker than the rest of my party is a liability, and I might have to grind.

I remember being mind blown the first time I played Dragon Quest II and realized the DQ1 world map was in the game as a continent. Still a super cool moment.

beat DQ1HD. i liked all the new story stuff to make it into more of a fleshed out RPG and a sequel to 3HD. not a fan of the game balance. It's not great and a lot of bosses feel like RNG luck battles even when you know the proper strat.

DQ1HD's enemy balance kind of fucking blows. I've been half a mind on the 1 vs many and skill/spell changes from the original, but I legit do not believe bosses are properly balanced around them, esp on Draconian, and the Dragon Zombie basically solidified this opinion for me. Full RNG bullshit.
