This is what I got instead of a Switch 2. Totally worth it for the Gran Turismo 7 + VR2 experience! Feels like I'm really there!

Dragon Quested. Almost in time for the DQIV anniversary but not quite. It's a good game particularly for the NES! Definitely one of the better Dragon Quest games I've played.

I guess my only gripe is a common one for NES DQ, why is the movement on some kind of step timer?

Been playing Dragon Quest (Warrior) IV lately. Lots of grind in the NES version but at least I don't have to suffer the hard to read accented DS script.

If there ever is a Gradius VI, I wonder what could be done to make it fresh again? Or is that even necessary? Treasure is the only dev group to really try to break the Gradius mold for some new gameplay aspects but I also hear complaints that they didn't follow traditions: "Where are the Moai?"
