I completely forgot about this until now LMAO] Baiheng/Jingliu/Ruan Mei; long-ish oneshot themed around Orpheus and Eurydice where Ruan Mei keeps giving Jingliu the chance to retrieve Baiheng from the Underworld but Baiheng refuses to let her. [Have a lot of notes on this one.] Feixiao/Lingsha; drugs and dragon egg breeding. [Have a fair amount written on this.] Kafka/Himeko; siren x ship captain AU. [Have a fair bit written on this one + an outline.] Robin/Jade; Jade sends a message to the one songbird she never quite let go of to let her know she's dying. Robin comes to care for her at the end of her life. [A lot of notes and ideas...] Serval/Cocolia; Cocolia survives but she's still mostly transformed into her boss state. Serval makes a lot of bad choices. [Partially written...]

as someone utterly fascinated with how miscommunication, self-deceit and lies looks like when written... pleaseee. make the liars lie! even to the ones they love!

I love miscommunication, concealment, pigheadedness, and lies. I think characters should talk around what they have to say and ignore each other and impute needs and beliefs onto others that have nothing to do with those other people and everything to do with maintenance of the ego. A little clear communication is fine but it should come at the end and be earned by repeated instances of snobbery, tomfoolery, self righteousness, or blockheadedness. If you decide you hate a character just because that character isn’t communicating in the way a therapist might coach them to, well consider that people don’t actually talk like that at all and that most of us get things wrong many times before we inch our way out of the labyrinthine darkness of our own heads.
