i hate that AI has now caused me to question the authenticity of cute animal videos online, which is my primary use of social media. i don't even know if this baby penguin actually wore a beret to go buy a tiny baguette in paris

You know, all of this money could have gone to start ups that are making a literal impact directly on living beings' livelihoods.. instead of, you know, taking up resources in which we need to live and survive as species etc.

This would make it the second highest market valuation at IPO of all time (first is Saudi Aramco) and the most money raised ($60B).
That leaves $1.19 trillion for them to figure out how to fund of their commitments to AMD, Microsoft, Nvidia & Oracle for AI infrastructure.
