Ohio: the Miamisburg Mound

I had to stop at the Mound, I haven’t been in years. Built by the Adena culture, it has stairs so you can climb to the top. My POTS did not like me climbing it, but it’s always worth it!
A grass lawn leads up to a 65 foot burial mound, covered in grasses and a variety of plants (lots of thistle!) The sky is blue with streaky grey and white clouds.
