All it costs is time… which just makes it better!
Had something stuck in Louisville for 10 weeks and then returned to sender without any real explanation. I don’t know if we even did anything wrong.

At just a half cup of red wine though, I don’t know if it will be missed. Maybe just a third bay leaf would do it.

Besides the other good comments, wine has tannins that give a mouth feel that I can’t really describe other than evaporative/dry. Might look into a grape leaf, bay leaf or something else that will have tannins to replicate that aspect of it. Surely there is a guide online for that.
