The end, when it came, was quick. The Kithmandos returned (some under a new subterranean influence) from an Ishgar'Ols research base having learned to hate their human "masters".

We ran 9 games for DCC day and it was a hot mess in a fun way. Extremely happy to have so many cool people around me that I get to hang out with.

Mostly offline these days but still doing shit. Very grateful for any real connections made online, we had a good run of "useful internet, but life is in person and online energy is very sapping sometimes.

Playtested the OG Warhammer 1e (mass battles *RPG*) Ziggurat of Doom scenario for 3D Roleplay Con in May.
Jungle terrain is fully magnetized/modular, worked like a charm.
Same with Zig.

I read a couple adventures that were handed out at GC. I am all for emergent gameplay but I was struggling to become interested in the content. They're very well presented in terms of quick to interpret, but I didn't get any interesting flavor from them, unfortunately.

I really wanted people roll their own stats to make them feel like it was still "their" character but wanted to make sure it was as prepped as it could be outside that. I had a separate orientation sheet with the ranks and instructions.

I had a real good time running ROCK-616!
I did a weird "puzzle" where I put down an illustration of the complicated flight controls of an out of control Landing-Rock and flipped a sand timer over saying "when this runs out you crash" - multiple compliments on it being violently original.

MERPin. Durlang stalks the Shadow of Angmar near Harubar Gular. Killed a human spy trying to infiltrate our Inn, followed his trail of lies back to this decrepit keep where the forces of the Witch King are mustering in secret.
