Sad to hear about the passing of legendary actor Tatsuya Nakadai (92). When I first really got into movies, I always thought of him as the other Kurosawa leading man, but his career had as many classics as Mifune. Ran, Harakiri, The Human Condition, Kagemusha, Face of Another, High & Low, and more.

Guillermo del Toro could've put Baragon into his Frankenstein film, but the world probably wasn't ready for a movie as cool as that.

Yes, I do. Unfortunately it didn't work out that any of my trans friends could take the time off or travel to be there for me during the first weeks of recovery. But thankfully my family stepped up. My mom has been really good help. I daresay it's healing some emotional scars.

I like it! I love the original film, and this isn't near the same level. But it's pretty good. There's a couple great scenes.
