They tell you in dialogue AND in codex entries. Sure not all of the writing was amazing, but they did at least cover that.

Wild to see this having never heard of OrcaCon before because I fully believed this was a joke about Strahd being unable to leave his domain to attend a convention about orcas sinking yachts. 😂 Like RIP dread lords, I'm sitting this one out.
