Travel enthusiast and amateur photographer just trying to make it through the 9-5. Also a big fan of Disney and horror novels so I’m all over the place.
Absolutely beautiful shot. It kind of makes me think of the view from Whoville IRL.

Very true. I appreciate everyone sharing beautiful landscapes. It’s reassuring.

I’m not a fan. It feels like there’s this major drive to spend money on books. I do love how creative and beautiful some editions are. But it also feels kind of icky at the same time.

I’ve never written a novel, but I’m always looking to pick up a new side quest!

Very true, I like this point. For me, reading Shakespeare in school was torture. Hearing it read aloud was a treat.

I just don’t understand. They have so much room to expand if they wanted to.

I haven’t read Nettle & Bone, but I’ve enjoyed what work of Kingfisher. It’s a pretty solid recommendation. Hopefully it’s life-changing for her!

Whether you read, listen, or both, the point is engaging with stories. This debate has sparked some really great dialogue. I’ve loved reading so many thoughtful opinions.

I’ve had friends say, “but you don’t read,” and yeah, sure, what’s your point? At least that’s where my own defensiveness can start creeping in. But at the end of the day, we’re all part of these communities because we love books and stories. That’s what really matters.
