Oh also, depending on whether or not I am eligible for Hungarian citizenship by descent (via simplified naturalization), that could be the ever-elusive sixth language in my musical chairs over the last spot. Since I can't see myself dropping French, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese nor Japanese.

Well I just crammed around 20 hours of Japanese grammar study over the weekend. Here's to a few hundred more before I get a grasp on it!

Well maybe I should try doing daily logs again. The good news is that I actually have been mainly keeping up with Japanese this year (with the exception of a 2 month or so period in which I had lapsed). The bad news is now my brain is like "yeah let's try learning 🇮🇹 🇫🇮 🇵🇹 and whatever else too!)

I wish I wasn't so scatterbrained and could actually stick to one thing at a time to improve on instead of having a ton of ideas and accomplishing nothing.

I apologize for not keeping up with the daily language tracker… Holiday gatherings, car repairs and seasonal depression messed up my studies a bit, so my plan now is just try to try back into the swing of things the next few days and then start the tracker again on January 1st.

So I guess it's been 10 years since my dad died. Time flies.

I’m going to keep track of my language studying here now, and see if I keep this up. My ultimate goal is to become fluent in 5 other languages but I don’t know what my last one will be. Current focus is Japanese.

I barely post here, but since I am going to be trying to improve in certain aspects I will try to document my progress here, particularly language study and drawing. I doubt anyone will be interested but at least I can try to see the progress I make and hope that seeing my improvements will help.
