Revisiting “The Descent” in 4K at @irishfilminstitute.bsky.social. Shoutout to @ohdeerdiner.bsky.social for pointing out that despite being set in dark caves, the film is still lit beautifully and strongly without ever being overlit.

A gorgeous restoration of a stunning (and gnarly) horror classic.

Lads, I can't express how straight-up bonkers, fun and clever this film is. I've really never seen anything like it. And is so well shot to considering it takes place almost entirely within a toilet cubicle.

Bring your friends, few pints, guaranteed good time!
One middle-aged man, one nightclub toilet. 𝐅𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡 is a wild ride down the drain as perennially unlucky Luc desperately tries to free his head from a club toilet.

Best experienced with an audience, this original, hilarious, and gross crowd pleaser screens at #IFIHorrorthon on Fri Oct 24th at 20:45

That 360 pan, the lighting, the split diopters and of course it wouldn't be DePalma without the tracking shots. Can't get over it, honestly. Thanks #bootlegfriday
