There is nothing on my Airline Transport Pilot certificate that indicates my race, pronouns, gender identity or anything that opponents of DEI are scared of. We all passed the same check rides based on the same standards set by the FAA. To use a tragedy as a platform to discriminate is abhorrent.

Some history about me: I had 8 miscarriages after going through fertility treatments. 2 were medically induced (1 because it was ectopic). Glad I didn’t need my ex-husband’s permission. Also glad I didn’t die because of that ectopic pregnancy. I don’t have any living kids, though they were wanted
