My kid has gone batshit. He's cranking out his own music and engineering sound for crowds of people he's meeting during live shows. He switched his major to audio engineering. Rock and roll on.

We have become a 3rd world nation propped up only by the fact that we have world killer weapons. We were once looked up to. Not perfect, but an example of what could have been the beginnings of a better world. Now? Not so much.

Good or bad, America was once, at least, listened to. Now our enemies are pointing and laughing, and our friends... Well, I'm not entirely sure we actually have any left. IMO, the bad guys won the war against America. The American dream has failed...

There are literally dozens of ways a group of prosecutors and legislators with sufficient backbone could take down these people, yet here we are. Until the Trump mob is in jail no sane person will ever believe in rule of law as a US foundational precept again.
