Love me some PostCurious games.

I just finished Pandora’s Legacy, which is a cross between a jigsaw puzzle and an escape room in a box. It was my favorite puzzle game so far.

I was recently out to dinner with coworkers and one told a story about a man his sister was dating, a man who dared to play MTG as an adult. The point of the story was that the sister only dates weirdos.

So, ya, no mentioning my solo campaign gaming with coworkers. Friends are equally uninterested

I do expect very simple, non-complex games to be cheap. Party games, games for children…

But, I don’t generally think complex games must be expensive. Chess is cheap.

I think fiddly-ness is a key indicator of an expensive game, however. More pieces, more production, more rules.

I’m similar. My wife says I’m super competitive, but in truth I don’t care at all who wins. I just want to have a good time and silence in a group is not fun.

The Isofarian Guard. Loved it so much, I sold it! [Solo]

There are 5 campaigns in the box and it took me about 24 hours to finish the 1st. I could see that I’d be playing only this game for months. It was really enjoyable, but there is also a lot of fluff in the game. Namely, too much combat.

Listened to the episode. Mox in Chandler is great. The beer selection isn’t quite what I’d hoped, but still an impressive space and great experience. If you all choose to let some listeners join in any games, let me know.
