This is proof that the real identity of Spider-Man isn't Peter Parker.
The first one was dark and gritty, and Planet Pepper was the one where she pulled out a Vixen-credit card and the villain made lots of ice puns. But ever since 2012, the movies are full of campy, self-referential, irony-poisoned jokes, so now everyone loves Planet Pepper and hates the first one.
