Let the holiday gift knitting begin! First in line is a blanket for my granddaughter. Lovely cable pattern on Ravelry, Childhood Wishes. She heartily uses her items. Using a sturdy acrylic(Big Twist) that can take a lot of washing. 🧶

Family vacay coming up. Gathered my fo forgiveaway to the kids and grandkids. They can select what they want from the pile, lol. Most are crochet, since I just started knitting. 🧶

Finished the CozyCabled Cowl, did scarf version. Continuing with tradition, my weekend cast on has begun. Frogged the wip socks, not happy with the fit. Will look for another knit sock since I like to have a pair going to take along. 🧶

Every weekend I get the urge to cast on a new project, no matter how many I have going. Since I want to learn cables, I have started the Cozy Cables Pet blanket. This will be for my tiny, very spoiled, constant companion who has wished to kiss me all day 😘 We shall see. 🧶#knitsky

Finally got the ChiaoGoo Red Lace circular for my project. What a difference! Flexible, lightweight and sharp. These feel much better! My knitting is much more even and my hands aren’t hurting. 🧶#knitsky

Oh #knitsky ! I have practiced my knit and purl stitches and finally cast on my first knitting project. I only have a few tools, so, using straight needles. I see a purchase of circulars in my future. These are hard for me, being used to a small crochet hook, lol.
