Promise faced a lot of challenges this past year, but they're still thriving. Great concert (and hilarious karaoke+foot massage challenge).

7-Eleven has a new CEO. Can't wait to see his sliding up-smash

Dacus happens to also be the name of a technique in Smash Bros Brawl that allows players to slide forward while doing an up-smash.

Some really sad news: Manga artist Kasai Sui passed away on September 12. Kasai was the author of the manga Giséle Alain, which has been on hiatus for many years now.

Below is a photo of my copies of all 5 volumes. I had been hoping the author would return to it someday...

This new Japanese Burger King ad makes me think of Shuffle from Yu-Gi-Oh
