Oxford United and all things Oxford United.
We waited 25 years to get to The Championship and it’s clear that we weren’t going to survive under DB. We got worse with every returning player. Surviving at this level, particularly with the stadium decision in sight, is more important than one man. I feel for him, but something had to change.

As a one off, the result yesterday doesn’t bother me. I’m concerned about the steady decline, though. Have injuries contributed? Yes, but what’s clear is that key players from last season are not making the step up. Boro were good, but they didn’t have to work hard enough for such a victory.

The best thing about the international break is it’s yet another reminder of the chasm between us and Swindon. While we swan around in other pursuits, they’re hoping a linesman has been allocated at Accrington.

We’re close, but unfortunately we just don’t quite have the quality to match the best opposition players. Too many passes go astray and the lack of pace did for us. Also, Vaulks’ set-pieces 🤢

Just need OUFC itself to come on here now and I’ll never have to go back to X.

On realising that I’d missed out on a ticket for tonight, I was all “it doesn’t matter, I’ve been there loads of times and it’s on Sky”. Not so much now. 😐
