Yes, they were. My Tasmanian husband and I went there in the summer of 1975 and visited the Memorial Garden. It was beautifully looked after

Here in Tasmania, the Electrolytic Zinc Works, built over 100 yrs ago, on the beautiful River Derwent just outside Hobart. What an eyesore - they claim that is steam not smoke pouring out of the chimneys.
