Both of these casses are going to get tossed.

I didn't see that coming, it being a sort of "techie" business. I had to get a new dentist because the previous one retired. The dental hygienist is worred an AI robot will replace her some day. NO AI bot is touching my choppers.

Thanks for this information. I've seen these at Aldi & have been tempted to try them. Now I definitely will. I just discovered Kroger's tater rounds. They'e about 1/4 the size of a tater tot, but they get really crispy in an air fryer & stay soft in the middle. YUM!

It's going to get worse. I read on here this morning Verizon will begin laying off 14,000 people next week. That's the largest in company history.

The South Carolina vs. Clemson game the other night was sloppy too. So Carolina returns only 1 starter (they had 2 but Chloe Kitts tore an ACL.) Clemson was feisty but couldn't sink the 3s.

Bellarmine has only been D1 for 5 years. It was part of the conference I covered when it was D2. I'm glad it has a new gym; the old one was pit.

Agreed. Pork steaks and tenderloin are two of my favorite things to eat. Aldi sells a lemon pepper marinated pork loin that I have once in awhile. It's realy good.

Briscoe just watched this video with a lot of interest. He & his sister were under food yesterday when I was trying to clean out a closet.

I have long believed there is an sign over certain houses visible only to cats that says "a sucker lives here." I've had 6 ferals through the years I've gladly taken care of. Only one of them, a tabby cat named Lucy, agreed to live indoors.

Had a store manager point out to me that by Trump getting rid of pennies, it would cost retail businesses tons of money because they had to re-price everything in their stores. So does the stuff that used to cost $19.99, now cost $20.05? Mark it up to the nearest nickel?

ProPublica, nice work. The obvious follow up, is where is all that food? Foodbanks must know where their product comes from; trace it back to origin. Can't transport w/out bills of lading. This USDA link might help if you can find someone who has a code. www.nass.usda.gov/Surveys/Guid...

I just googled it. Per USDA there are 800 commercial & public warehouse in 48 states; USDA has to inspect those. When I audited UGRA meal builds we used a cold storage facility that had a huge room that was full of eggs. You need a code to read the monthly online reports.

That's the obvious follow up story. Start with the foodbanks & find out where & when the food normally comes from. Nothing can be transported legally without bills of lading; track those back to origin. The milk, eggs, meat & poulty have to be in refers & cold storage. I think they're hoarding it.

Briscoe was sitting here next to me and suddenly wretched like he was going to hurl on the arm of my favorite hoodie. I told him to go get a drink & he did jump down but I don't think he's getting a drink.

There's another thread on this site that features an email that said someone should look into the funding that built Mar-A-Lago. That's an interesting tidbit.

Same deal with Letitia James. She's the freaking AG, she knows to follow the letter of the law. You are correct in that everyone they know commits these crimes so they assume everyone is doing it.
