I feel Varda would enjoy this photo

This was one of my first cookbooks, a gift from my parents, who still talk of the gingerbread and Norwegian buns I made all those years ago. It’s had a few front covers, but this one takes me right back. I wonder which is your favourite cover of your books @nigella.bsky.social ?

I really love this poster for Aki Kaurismäki’s LE HAVRE (2011). It’s so unlike all the other ones released and the addition of the dog and 🍍 is pure magic.

It took a week to gather the ingredients and then buy some again because we ate them by accident, it’s tough out there. but finally made Meera Sodha’s harissa and pickled lemon lentil soup today it was worth it!
