Last night was totally wild. Stayed up and made a whole 33 jars worth of jam! Take that friends who say I've slowed down and am no fun anymore.
Red jam boiling away in a very large pot. 33 jars of red fruit jam. Roughly 10kg in weight. All from the fruit in my garden. A mix of raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, strawberries and blackberries.

Friday night treat. Take potato dauphinoise, but add cheese onions, parsley, rosemary, thyme and whole grain mustard. It's mana!
A square pyrex dish filled with potato, cheesy, oniony, creamy goodness. Okay perhaps not that good for you but certainly very tasty. As yet uncooked. But it is soon to spend 40 mins in the oven. It's all sitting on a wooden chopping board, with a red kitchen knife beside the dish and some rosemary stems in the top corner.
