Finally found some use for a few mega-sized gacha capsules I thought had potential.
This is also the first time I've worked with sparkle yarn. It wasn't bad! But I don't think I'd use it regularly.
Now that I know I can do this I can do all sorts of colors ✌🏻

The old Punxsutawney Phil's restaurant is a super discount store now? They have a ton of cheap stuff from Target pallets.

It was still there when I came home, so you KNOW my dumbass turned around, parked on a blind curve and ran to 'rescue' it.

Sometimes you go to a yard sale at a back roads farm close to Halloween and it's the 50th Anniversary of RHPS.
And sometimes that farm has "a black kitten that they want gone."
And sometimes you come home with Frankenfurter aka Franky.

I did indeed win 1st place for my cat! (Though it was the only thing in the category haha)
Still, not bad for my fair debut!
Next year I've already got plans to make some more intricate submissions!

Anyway, one is a cross body bag (with lining and zipper!) and a cat I made my mum.

UGH, I spun it around because it was developing a lean towards the window and bam.
Looks like it's going back in the old position. I love this plant but, my God, it's HUGE compared to pic 3 when I got it 5yrs ago.
Thankfully only one leaf broke off and Ojizō-sama remained upright and unbroken.

For keeping the seeds on a whim these white pumpkins are doing AMAZING.
18 and counting.
I've got one regular pumpkin coming and it looks to be a big one.
There's also ironweed growing in the swampy part of the yard and looking lovely.

A wonderful weekend away at Gettysburg.
We took a bus tour and the guide we had was marvelous with a sense of humor, which I loved. It was super informative and he was fantastic at his job.
We also went to a roadside stop that was a candy store and elephant museum. I love quirky stuff like that.
