That last Uchronic post I’ve shared takes its inspiration from a Comic series I’ve finished and absolutely loved, from Jonathan Hickman’s ‘East of West’ with the amazing drawings of @nickdragotta.bsky.social an epic story among Nation forces fighting for their domination amongst apocalypse Horsemen.

Fake Historical fact: In 1978, Chief Arkadi Ahuli led the Black Tribe Resistance, who built and controlled illegal casinos on oil-rich lands. Covertly supported by Soviet forces, they fought to challenge U.S. control, using the wealth generated to shift the global balance of power.

I was referring to the Belgian Comic LA TOVR with @apollonia.bsky.social and wanted to share some of the amazing talent and layout of François Schuiten, a comic book that had a huge impact on me at a really young age with amazing architecture drawings, poetic obscure meanings and an impactful twist.
