My favourite picture of Kitsu, I’m going to miss this little bud more than anything else about that job.

This is one of the smaller ravens on site. Far less friendly than the foxes, but smarter, and fearless, had a larger one follow me into a sea can once. By larger, 60cm tall wouldn’t be an exaggeration.

Kitsu’s “summer” coat, summer is in quotation marks only because 10°C was the warmest temperature I saw there, the coldest being -72°C.

Northern lights were a rarity up there (it’s typically too far north to see them), this was the one time I saw them while there.

Pretty sure this little bud is from kitsu’s litter last year, they’re usually together, called him Hako, way more skittish than Kitsu, but he was warming up to me, tried to steal a strap from the truck once.

I called this one Kitsu, she followed me around constantly and would rub up against my legs while I worked.
