It isn't enough to see the image to describe it, one must perceive what it is that makes that image special, how it speaks to those who can see it, so that you can communicate some of the 1000 words it is said to be worth.

It may be acceptable for simple memes, but services like this are no substitute for human intelligence

ALL automated output MUST be reviewed by a human. One cannot rely on any tool for accuracy or veracity. There are things it will miss that you must add & things it will add which you must remove.

After submitting a wordless far side cartoon, the following ALT has been generated: "A woman carrying a basket walks a path, stepping on a child lying on the ground, while chickens are visible behind a fence" Assuming that the image is part of this screenshot, & that you, can visually in cognitively process it, it should be clear that this is not an accurate description. Even this blind man can "see" the absolute inadequacy of the description.

I'd hoped that a new start on a new platform would also bring a new commitment to accessibility, for as you know, there is a large LGBTQ plus community amongst the blind, visually impaired & neurodivergent, all of whom benefit immeasurably from ALT
