Vim is cool. I was editing a file while my notebook was also compiling LLVM, and it froze suddenly. I waited until the library closed but it did not recover.
After I went back home restarting the PC and trying to edit the file again, I found a .swp is there keeping all my edited content!

很多年前，在我们那个地方，CS(Counter-Strike，反恐精英)被叫做「半条命」。但CS其实是「半条命」（Half-Life）的一个游戏模组，后期成为独立的游戏（见维基百科）。我的理解就是类似于「红色警戒」之于「命令与征服」，「Dota」之于「魔兽争霸」（不要信我，因为我都没玩过）。
但有意思的是，我发现半条命这个游戏的封面是一个大大的Lambda，我对着这张图片看了半天还以为是什么Functional Programming相关的东西：

我看到数据说中国PhD的比例并不高，但我的感觉是这个数据有欺骗性，事实上中国的master的毕业难度已经比很多国家PhD的毕业难度都高了，所以高水平工程师比例其实是相当高的。虽然就我体感来说本科教育真的挺糟糕的。但I mean其他国家你们不反思一下吗……当然我感觉这个思维模式是不是太工业党了。

日本的归国子女据说常被对自己说英文而激怒（意思是你不被我当作「日本人」），我懂这种感觉是我常常点餐点到一半服务员对我说中文，有种精心练就的口音被识破的挫败感。
