We consistently blame our forwards for not killing games off (insert Nico Jackson here) and Sanchez for letting in easy goals and our defence for not being up to it, but we also seem to have a midfield imbalance. Is it the full back inverting or just our midfield which is an issue?

I find myself consistently defending Nico Jackson in front of other Chelsea and it is getting harder to do, which makes the pursuit of non prolific and raw Mathys Tel that much more bewildering. Make it make sense?

It's becoming popular to blame Nico for the bad patch of form. I agree he could have scored 3 goals today, but placing blame entirely on him is lazy at best. Team looks disjointed, Cole is off form and Maresca's mojo is seemingly diluted. I don't know how to fix it, but it's really concerning
