Well, it's New Year's Eve. Just hasn't been the same since that portrait in Dick Clark's attic fell apart and he turned to dust with a whiff of Brylcreem & Buddy Holly's "That'll Be the Day" playing faintly in the air.

Today, I went to the grocery store, and saw a man exit the store pushing a cart of groceries and leading a mini-horse to his truck and mini-horse-sized trailer. I then watched them both return the cart to the store rather than the cart corral. Yes, I live in the south, how did you know?
