I used OpenDyslexic as an example because it's free to use in all mediums, of course it's not The Answer, but indies rely on free stuff. Idrc what font *actually* gets used so much as the option and effort for accessibility is there. Which, again, is really easy to do in the engines mentioned above.

Is it as easy as just swapping out the font, not always. However, both Unity and Unreal have built-in typography tools for not just font, and not just font style, but also letter and word spacing, kerning etc. Incorporating these attributes into an accessibility menu is a few lines of code.

I'm not refuting any of the claims that you've made, or the perspective/expertise that you may have, but my initial claim is generally about implementation. Putting a few extra hours into your UI/menus to create a dyslexia-friendly experience is not hard by any stretch.

In terms of logistics and licensing the OpenDyslexic font is free in all uses under the SIL Open Font License. If you're talking about implementation, if I'm building my accessibility menus from scratch it takes me about 1-2 hours to put something basic together, and I work slow lol

Shida is very fun and cool, but may I direct your attention to AEW's only (openly) trans wrestler Nyla Rose?

9 times out of 10 I call these kinds of people and they give me this long winded story about nothing just to ask where a single button is and it's right in front of their face.

Like thanks for wasting both of our time!! I literally could have just sent you a screenshot and a two-sentence email!!

Also Frieren is definitely autistic so I may be projecting a little but that won't stop me from loving it.

I've re-watched the first season like 10 times this summer. I'm so pathetically in love with this anime.
