Christmas gift for my grandma, she wanted a painting of a waterfall with blue sky. Been a while since I dragged the watercolour out, was fun to get back to it.

Introducing a small miniseries of illustrations I got, the fjording punk. This the human version.

This actually started out as a small rant I had about how there are so many horse words to describe the color beige. So now we got the fjording punk, complete with the colors.

Poor Silverfish doesn’t get along with Plainthreader, the horse. Because just because a horse is supposed to be easy to ride, doesn’t mean you’ll get along with them.

Haven’t felt like drawing in ages

So, naturally, an hour I have to go to late shift work, I decide to draw a horse, famously easy thing to do, throwing off one of my oc’s. Who isn’t good at riding and tends to get thrown off a lot.

Why else have ocs, if you cannot torture them a little?

Sketches from today’s draw meet up. Found a cool picture on pecked that I sketched out, then randomly decided to use my highlighters to give a colourful background.

The other is a moose, chose a 3/4 angle instead of full side profile, because I like fucking myself over.

Quick and dirty character design, with my old crayons. Love their color payoff.

Haven’t drawn anything in ages, partly because the draw meet up I go to every week is on vacation. And partly because I have been working on two other projects that I can’t share.

More animal anatomy practices.

One of my favourite aesthetics, with the strong colors, geometric shapes and somewhat dreamy quality. I love the idea of taking a very digital artform and make it traditional, to fight AI.

Made with alcohol markers and some acrylic paint markers.

On today’s Tegnekveld, an event at the local library where we meet up to draw for 1.5 hours. Today I ended up trying to figure animal anatomy out. Just pencil for now, I might throw in colors at a later date.
