With water as hot as you can manage. The hotter the better. The heat on the skin masks the pain for me. Hopefully you get some relief ✌️

As someone who also suffers from them, a hot water bottle should be up there on your list. When I get an attack, painkillers don't come close, but a hot water bottle held against my back/side provides me with loads of relief.
