The actual Internet started in 1978. Message boards, online games, music and video downloads and online shopping have been around since the first electronic bulletin board service in 1978. DARPA connected the technology to form the Internet in 1983. 1995 is when stupidity invaded the Internet.

Mars will never be terraformed because a huge asteroid struck its polar region millions of years ago cracking it like an egg and exposing its core to vacuum. No core means no magnetic field and very little atmosphere and no way to create more. It’s a dead planet and will always be a dead planet.
