A room full of people enjoying music, conversation, community and food! The food buffet line was full of happy looking people and the volunteers. A volunteer, adored with a black blouse covered in pretty flowers, is serving what appears to be a baked mixed veggie dish to an attendee.

Centro Hispano and the African Center for Community Development to provide furnishings for some of the people that they support.

Thanks to this, donations, and the continued efforts of our volunteers, we will be ready when our country's government begins to accept refugees again!

There's been a lot of confusion lately about how soon refugees and asylees with green cards and Afghan SIV holders are able to get SNAP benefits. The wait may not be as long as 5 years - please check with your local SNAP office.
