And just, the way she lit the fuck up. It was like a shooting star was shoved in her chest and exploded. She took off after that, talking about HOSA and Science. When she was breathless I was just like, "I'm so proud right now and excuse me if I cry."

So no, I am never surprised by the bad behavior often seen in reader/author spaces. I am, however disappointed and saddened by it.
