yep which is why the LT thing is so confusing to me. It’s like two different people writing the romance in og. I’m glad the story is more cohesive in remake, at least when it comes to LT stuff…it just makes more sense that he denies it because it’s supposed to be HIS secret that no one else knows

Telling someone you think of someone else as your gf in your mind doesn’t make it true. It’s still one sided on Cloud’s part atp because Tifa isn’t aware he shares the same feelings. But it shows that in his heart he views her that way.

to me koibito can also mean similar thing, but not gender specific like kareshi/kanojo. personally I think here needs some context. Cloud may view Tifa that way, but since they have not yet confessed and established a relationship, it’s one sided on his part in this situation

I aways felt like as she becomes more in tune with the planet and can’t start to hear their voices more clearly, she does have some knowledge of her fate.
