The setting is a big hook for me - a town that was suddenly cut off from the rest of the world by a large impenetrable wall and now must run self sufficiently. Local politics changed when the "visitors" started showing up at night - monsters made of nightmares.

I already started needing to write things down for 2026 so I went and got a new planner. Got a Completist Weekly Planner. Also picked up a refill for my Uniball ONE (the short fat ones) and my first ever Blackwing pencil.

From Glatisant playtests s (its a Carta system but the game has defined multiple resources instead of one pool). We actually made the icons "official" and added them to the game's design.
So each card has an effect, and I notated the resources as Icons.

I got one of those "sunset" lamps that casts a circle on the wall and uses RGB and a white light to let you adjust the colors, and im just way frikin excited about this.

My entire family played D&D half of them for the first time on vacation.
when my sister (1st time player) disguised self as the guy we thought was being impersonated only to enter a room with TWO other figures of that same guy in it - I knew the game was a hit

Yea Loop is really an interesting mix of chaotic and clean. I tend to lean towards clean layered but minimal layout so this was what me being chaotic looks like.
