You can check assorted economists. They argue for and against tariffs, usually depending on their own political bias.

As for Trump, I'm not sure. It would be hard to argue that he's not an expert businessman though, which is a point in his favor... You know? If we're discussing business matters.

The future? We can't see the future. It's the human condition.

Furthermore, it's sensible to be wary of anyone who claims that they can. They're almost certainly lying to you, themselves, or both.

A common theme that I see with extroverts is an insatiable need for external validation. Looks painful.

And here we are, going through all this trouble to create fusion reactors, when we have the solar system's *largest* fusion reactor rising in the sky every morning.

I can't speak to anyone's motivations, but it's criminally wasteful no matter how you slice it.
