I see your point. But if running stuff in Docker, patching is usually done in 2 commands, and not a big deal.
Besides, I've started testing #gotosocial in parallel now, since Friendica is using quite a lot of resources. Think I might drop Friendica if I don't get too much problems with GTS.

I have had it running for a while, and it looks promising, but I just don’t know enough people in the fediverse to use it much yet. Most people I know will probably stay with meta forever, and I just don’t have the energy to try to convert everyone I know.

I have WireGuard -> PiHole -> Unbound -> Mullvad DNS set up at home. So when I’m out, I can connect to home to get decent ad-blocking on mobile. This is a use case some might have neglected with a VPN.
