Definitely agree with you and like you said the burden falls on these rural ED's that are working as hard as they can but they can't provide that same continuity of care that patients need.

That is very true. I am in central pa now and we have some families that travel 1.5 to 2 hours for pediatric subspecialty care that need to be booked months in advance. It is a massive burden on these families.
