I’m loving it. But I’ve learnt that #Nádas is an acquired taste. #ParallelStories was one of my favourite reads last year, but I’m in the minority. Personally I think his work is misunderstood, and its extremely graphic nature is not for everyone. So far this one is an easier read than PS.

I’ve almost given up on new books, lol… but two I can think of: ‘The Mysterious Disappearance of The Marquise of Loria’ (which is actually a new ed. rather than new book); and the English translation of ‘Schattenfroh’… which I think you’ve read in German?
