My youngest got his PhD from ucla in geochemistry. He was a TA. They paid his tuition and around 35k a year. I helped him some too. He initially wanted to be a prof. Then changed. Now he is working for a geological company

I had Hilda Solis in an economics class. Pretty sure it was her. She sat near me. Wanted to make a move on her but I didn't have many moves then lol.

I went to cal poly pomona. Loved it. Wasn't a sports school tho. So that part I didn't get. But everything else was more than good for me.

Back then the UC schools didn't have business majors with the exception of Berkeley. Now they have a minor where u can get enough classes to sit for the cpa exam. But I honestly think the better faculty is at the csu campuses for accounting.

The city has had a lot of struggles recently as I am sure u know. But that can build character. People that dont have it easy often wind up with more empathy.
