TLDR; I fucked up, I was sad, but I fixed it, it wasn’t a waste of time or money, and I’m proud of myself

In the end it took me 75-ish minutes. But I did it all on my own. Made no mistakes. And managed to do some pretty flawless cable management as well. Do dispute my mistake, I’m proud that I made it because I learned from it and I learned how to fix it. And now I know I can build a modern PC on my own

Anyway, after my sob sesh, I finally got myself up and decided to just fix the mistake. The living room was a mess and my parents would be gone in about 30-40 minutes. So I got to work putting my computer back together as it was.

I’m still new to computers so you can see how that may have been confusing at first. But I figured it out pretty quick. And then spent the next couple hours sulking that I had just spent $200 on a case I can’t use… yet. Luckily the motherboard I plan to get for the new build is mATX and will fit.

Bad idea… kinda… I didn’t exactly pay attention to what went where as I was pulling it all apart. But then disaster struck (exaggeration) as I realised my motherboard didn’t fit in my new case. My new case was for an mATX or ITX motherboard and I had an ATX motherboard.

So yesterday it finally arrived and I decided to pull my current computer apart and put it into the new case. And I mean I pulled everything apart, even the stuff I didn’t need to (except CPU cause I don’t got thermal paste). I was doing this to get practice and make sure I knew what I was doing.

Except that game prices haven’t actually risen. If you take inflation into account then they’ve been steadily dropping in price since the 80’s and are now around an all time low (with switch 1 games at $60) being less than half the price that they were in the 80’s

80’s*

In 1986, Nintendo releases the legend of Zelda for the NES at a price of $49.99. Wanna know how much that is now in 2025? $140. So please can we stop complaining, even with these price rises, games are almost the cheapest they have ever been.

And yes, kids might snap it… people, they’re kids, there is no such material on earth that can’t be damaged by a child. Children are like… fool-proof resistant. They don’t gaf, they’ll break anything anyway. So in conclusion, the switch 2 will be fine (except against children under 7 years)

It is also a little thinner and thus “weaker” too, but again, it’s also shorter, so it’s going to have about the same relative strength. And it also doesn’t even go all the way to the edge if the system. The only way you’re snapping this is intentionally or through severe irresponsibity

The entire purpose of the switch 2 is to take the 3rd most successful console ever, and innovate it in the hardware ave software aspect to make it more powerful. And that’s what it did. People asked for a more powerful switch, that’s what we got, and they have innovated, just not on a surface level

Lmao, no?
The Nintendo switch was a successful formula, so they didn’t change it. They did this with Super Nintendo, gameboy colour, 3DS, and so many others. And to say it lack innovation? Um… DLSS like it’s never been seen before, Ray Tracing in a handheld, the joy cons doubling as mice? Hello?!?!?

I’ll also be doing videos on the Splatcraft server soon, so keep an eye out for that too! Some videos might contain lore
