One of my favourite walks on Dartmoor, this memorial to a local soldier is set in a beautiful, quiet location, with just a babbling brook & birdsong for company. The 2nd photo is of nearby Widgery cross, mentioned on the plaque. Near Lydford. ❤️

The wonderful Morrab Library in Penzance, which harks back to the old days, in its upstairs rooms at least, when you could sit & enjoy the peace & quiet with a book. It has many book lined rooms & desks & comfy chairs - a little piece of heaven ❤️
